Hello from way down the Prospect Rd
Hello,
I'm a not-so-long time listener, first time caller - two years into life in Nova Scotia and just over a year into home brewing. So far I've been making NG kits with reasonable success but plan to get into AG, hopefully this summer.
In my previous life as a British Columbian I did a lot of ubrew (hello Burnaby Brew Works!) which made me realize that bloody good beer could be made at home. After getting settled in Halifax (and getting a job) I got started.
I know one or two of you on the forum and have met a few others. I'm looking forward to meeting some more.
My inventory at the moment is a few final bottles of pumpkin oatmeal stout, cervesa, and a British IPA. In primary is a red ale. On the shelf, marked 'do not drink until summer 2014' is a few bottles of overly dry-hopped IPA that so far tastes absolutely horrible. I couldn't pour it all down the drain so I kept a few to see what happens.
That's my story.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

Welcome
As for the bad beer, I think we've all learned our lessons overtime haha.

Welcome aboard!
If you're free this Tuesday night, remember that our monthly meeting is being held on the peninsula (near the northwest corner of the Commons), and new folks are welcome. No, new folks are encouraged! I'm sick of the rest of these jokers.
Please check the events sub-thread for more details.

Thanks for the invite. This Tuesday is not in the cards, I don't think, but it would be great to meet some of the posse (and get some more 500ml) bottles.
