Poland, Szczecin, Brewpub Stara Komenda

Post by becik » Thu Aug 14, 2014 4:20 pm

adress: Poland, Szczecin, brewpub Stara Komenda

Brewpub offer normal 3 beers: light, dark and weizen, and many seasonal, here on the picrure beer Chochoł - witbier, make another as porter, milk sout, amber, bock, marzen, IPA and another.
Very good local couisine, especially I love a marinated (sorry, I dont know what it is in english) Baltic Sea fish Sałata, who is from family of atlantic herring fish with marinated chanterelle.

Everybody mus try here a home made: paprykarz szczeciński - is delicious
(Paprykarz szczeciński is a Polish paste made by mixing fish paste (around 50%) with rice, onion, tomato concentrate, vegetable oil, salt and a mixture of spices including chilli pepper powder. It was introduced in the 1960s. It is only available as canned food. It was inspired by African chop-chop. Due to larger content of the fish paste, it has a more distinctive and spicier taste than the similar Asian otak-otak)

Food and beer both look fantastic. Some nice, shiny copper there as well.

Great pictures, as always, becik! And marinated sounds like the right word to me.

Yup, great as always!
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:
