Holy freaking chalmers, that ad does work. Good to have more peeps from around the province.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

Thanks Guys! Glad I joined this forum. Gets lonely around these parts as a Home Brewer and I'm sick of looking at U.S. Home Brew forums lol. Cheers

Haven't your friends and neighbours caught on to what you're doing yet? Tell them you need help drinking all the beer you brew and you'll never be lonely again.

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Re: Hello From Cape Breton!
Welcome!
I head up to Sydney every few months for work, and would love to get together for a pint and/or share some homebrew. And I know there are a few displaced Capers here who would love to drink with a homebrewer when they're home.
I'll post/PM you once I know when my next trip will be.

I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber

What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe
