Recommendation Needed: Foundation Crack Repair in HRM
I walked into my basement today to find a huge puddle on the ground, with a trail leading back to the wall. It has happened before (never this big), but usually after drying it up with a cloth, it's done. This time, it kept coming and coming, enough that I decided I needed to figure out where it was coming in from. I ripped out the drywall/vapour barrier/insulation, and have found the offending spots, along a previously-repaired crack.
I've got it semi-under control for the time being (towels, wet/dry vac, fans), but will need to have it fixed sooner rather than later. It was repaired professionally before my time, and I doubt the warranty will transfer to me (but I'm trying to track down the paperwork now). In the very possible instance I can't find the paper/it doesn't help, does anyone have any recommendations on crack repair in the HRM?

We used Wyse Cracks back in the day. Seal is still holding almost 20 years later.

I have ho recommendation for a repair company but will say that it will probably help slow things down if you go outside and channel ant water well away from that wall. Consider improving drainage around your house to prevent more leaks by reducing the water and soil pressure.

Can highly recommend Wyse Cracks. When we used them they were very honest in their assessment, offered an alternative but gave the appropriate caveat, provided a fair quote and went above and beyond getting the work done (way above and beyond TBH). I would use them again in a heartbeat. They are not the cheapest in town.

Thanks guys! Wyse Cracks sounds like the winner.
Is this them (Wise vs. Wyse)?

No water or snow build-up outside, but there's probably a drainage problem that is exacerbating the crack issue.

They're here now. They'd originally given me a 1pm appointment, but called this morning to see if I'd be OK with an earlier visit. Even better!
$350+tax for the repair, guaranteed, I'm happy.

Even better news. I even avoided the Rob Ford comment.
