FeBREWary - Brewnosers edition
I know it's not even Christmas yet, but why isn't this a thing? A February event with a pre-loaded cheesy pun. Homebrewers can't resist puns.
A tasting? A get-together? A beer exchange?

Sounds like a good name for a brew day.

or make it like Movember... a month-long commitment to brewing

This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Seems to have fizzled. However, SAAZ is getting together in Feb. Perhaps everyone who gets together can post some pics or something to this thread, along with the empties and any associated carnage.Keith wrote:Anything ever come of FeBREWary?

I should have two taps pouring IPA for our get together. Same recipe, different dry hopping.dean2k wrote:Seems to have fizzled. However, SAAZ is getting together in Feb. Too bad. Any interest in a group brew on Feb 15? I could host, or bring my turkey fryer BIAB setup somewhere.

I'd be up for attending, however only setup for stove top, but would be great to check the all grain process, however that being said, I could also possibly host pending I clear it with the warden.

I'd be up for a group brew on February 15th, the wife's away and I have free run of the house to make a proper mess if we are still looking for a location. I'm in downtown Dartmouth.

If you're willing to host, that would be great! If you don't mind a few of us coming over, could be a great day.

Tim, I'm in for this, can't brew but definately want to attend.
Mark, Kirsten and Keely this may be a great opportunity for a colborative brew.
I'm pondering something unique.

I'll probably drop by for a bit, but I won't be brewing. My house is already too full of beer.

As above, OldMalt has offered up his place, in downtown Dartmouth. For exact details, best to PM or email him.GuingesRock wrote: I don't understand this. Where is it and what's happening. I wish I lived in Halifax.
It is a day to drop by and share brewing stories and perhaps watch a brewday in progress.
Like Liam, I had planned to take part, but now will not be able to devote the time. If OldMalt is still brewing, and folks are thinking of dropping by, I might be able to join in for a pint.

Re: FeBREWary - Brewnosers edition
Is anyone planning to brew at my place tomorrow?
As people have said the weather is going to be quite bad, and I haven't picked up a couple of the things I need for my brew yet. If I'm the only one brewing I was thinking of canceling to stay warm and dry and get a few things done myself.
