You can pay when you grab the hops - no problem!Keith wrote:haha that works. Derek you going to be home tomorrow night, I can drop the cash off, I just like to get the money to the person quickly.

Re: March Meeting - Garage Sale and Swap
I am still expecting visitors on Tuesday. Bottles, small barley wine. Bottles. Flip top bottles. Mini kegs. Assorted pump clips. A tap handle or two. 4 corny kegs. Grain. Specialty grain. Odd things and bits. I am keeping bare essentials and ongoing experiments. Plus there will be beer, cause it's a BrewNosers meeting.

Oh and a pile of assorted frozen hops. Everything from vacuum packed frozen to last years homegrown NS cascade.
Only asking that it be used. Not taken for resale. Except the corny kegs which will be $15 for the ones that are complete. Max 1/person (is that fair?). I'll spend most of that on beer.

Re: March Meeting - Garage Sale and Swap
$15?? You would still be offering a stellar deal at $30.
I know it's not about making lots of cash (and folks are happy to yell at me to keep quiet), but they are worth much more than $15. A one post person limit does help spread the love! I will refrain from buying any, as I just picked up some for friends.

Re: March Meeting - Garage Sale and Swap
Yeah their value has skyrocketed since I got mine 3 years ago. 30 is still a good deal (and gets you more beer) and might create less of a first come type approach to them.
planning: beer for my cousin's wedding
Fermenting: black ipa
Conditioning:
Kegged: barrel barleywine from 2014 - i think i still have this somewhere

I think $25-$30 is a better range.

I'd gladly pay in that range and am interested, but alas will not be there.

Re: March Meeting - Garage Sale and Swap
I could definitely use a corny - at either price.
Are there any Sackvillians going to the meetup that I could get a ride back home with? I work DT and I'll just walk up to the meetup, rather than making the extra trip back to Sackville.

I'm pushing to get out to both events, her plans fell through anyways. If I'm going I'll let you know. Should know more details later tonight.mikeorr wrote:I could definitely use a corny - at either price.

Re: March Meeting - Garage Sale and Swap
Besides the cork and cage bottles I mentioned elsewhere, I haven't heard any interest in the other 4 dozen bottles I could bring, is that true? Variety of shapes, all are 500mL or above, 99% are crown only. I don't want to bring them and have to lug them home, I'm better off taking them to the recycler (and don't want Brewnoser to be stuck with them).
Also have a medium bag of the "pink stuff" (I don't use it anymore), an old steel capper (needs to be bench mounted), and have a dispenser for a 5L Bubba keg set up that I was going to bring (either to give away, or see if it would fit on the 5L keg Brewnoser mentioned).

Ooooh. I thought the bombers were gone. After delabelling and washing 80 longnecks the other night (I almost have fingerprints again) and then shearing 5 necks with my wing capper, I would speak up for both the bottles and the bench capper. What were you hoping to get for them?

In order of importance: A firm handshake, hopefully a pat on the back, and maybe a bottle of homebrew.

I also have a pile of assorted specialty grains. Many still in sealed bags. Rye. Brown. Special B. Biscuit. Lactose (was going to make a nursing stout for a friend and never got to it) a bench capper, and it's 6 coke kegs. One without the rubber stand. A glass Carboy with handle and the mini keg system shown.

Oh and a fridge tap. Plus a pile of assorted 6 pack carriers, some pretty famous beers.

Re: March Meeting - Garage Sale and Swap
New guy interested in coming out to meet people and possible spend money. (unfortunately have no equipment to swap, and drank the last of my latest batch on the weekend).
Is there anyone coming from the South End I can catch a ride with, as I have no idea where to go? I promise I'm okay-ish.

I'd love that tap handle for Stanley if someone could mule it back to sackville, just need 1 more to complete the set.
Unfortunately the warden made it clear that I'd have to take my pick on Tues or Thurs. I'm not able to attend tonight unfortunately.
I think I picked the wrong month to start at the gym. lol

Come on out! If you've got a cool beer from away, or some snacks, that would be a great offering for the evening.
