I cheeped out on the 630's and spent the savings on finishing my outdoor setup. 630's will happen some day. For now 525PC's across the board. Pics to come once I install them.

Pot, Dark Star Burner and my home made 50' immersion chiller. :cheers2:

I need to wait to get a couple gasket kits for 2 kegs, then will be brewing. Just waiting on Dave to get some in stock.
After I get the taps on Stanley, I'll be building a 2 vessel lager chamber. :cheers2:

So I've installed the Perlicks... The tall handles cause the faucet not to close fully due to the freezer door.

I'm hoping I can source an angle bonnet this side of the border. (Rather support a Canadian business).

You could pull part of the shank through the front of the fridge, using a nut or other spacer to secure it.

You could also get the stainless collars for the shanks instead of the black plastic ones. They will give you more space and are pretty widely available.

Thanks for the idea Chris, May be able to find something oversized that the flange can sit on. :cheers2:

Jeff I already upgraded to the Stainless Steel Flanges, but they do protrude a bit more than the normal. Plastic ones were cheap and all mine cracked on me.

I just ordered 5 of these Angle Bonnets from Ebay, and got the missing ferrule I needed. Expensive to drop $50 on these 6 items. But I'm already in for the long haul now, what's another $50 in the grand scheme of things. I'm looking forward to finishing Stanley once and for all.

After that it's time to work on my all grain setup which I'll be going 2 tier. Waiting for a large cooler to go on sale @ CT, then I'll pick up my cooler conversion kit from Dave. Then I just need a mill.

What size cooler?

We use the cheap blue coleman coolers from walmart. We can do a "normal" sized 5 gal recipe full volume for 60min boils.
We are running 4 of them. $23 I think we paid for them.

I'm going to be brewing 10 gallon. So probably in around 65-75 quart, I will want to do full batch no sparge if possible.

Yea my plan is to brew 10 gallon batches, then dry hop and use different yeasts when I split the batches. That way I can hopefully cut down on the time I spend brewing. Hoping it will hold mash temp on 5 gallon batches if/when I decide to do them.

That size cooler will likely be tight for a 10g batch with no-sparge, unless you're doing a pretty low OG.

Better off looking closer to a 100? On average my beers are 6-7.5%.

I think you'd be tight with the 75 for that %.

I did a 10g no-sparge weizen, OG of 1.051 and it JUST fit in my 70qt cooler.

Thanks. I think I'll go with the 100 quart when I do move to all grain. Will allow me to do some big beers which I am about. :cheers2:

Pot is 15 gallon. I know a 10gallon will be pushing the limits of the pot.

It's not too bad Keith for a boil pot. My boil pot for 10 gal batches is 16 Gal and it has about a gallon of installed coiling coil in there. I never have boil-overs, but I am on hand as it comes to the boil and skim off the hot break as mentioned. I don't use fermcap.

Decided to do some recycling at work... old name tags and plates, lightly sanded the backs, and applied some chalk board paint the facilities Manager had kicking around. easy way to keep the tap selection up to date... funny thing. I forgot the chalk lol.

His Royal Highness Stanley V2.

Very Nice Keith.

ps. What about removing the plastic door handles? or replacing them with wooden door knobs. just a thought. Be easy to open the doors without the handles and you won't often be opening them.
