Good to know. Where would a guy find bulk Goretex? I'm guessing it came as a sheet and you cut to size?

I was thinking about taking some silicon tubing and splitting it down the middle and putting it over the lip of the conical. Think that might get the seal I need.

The issue you will have there is the seam. I can 'probably' find a couple more gaskets for you and rtoe.

Gravity transfer with the 1/4" tubing through the ball lock out connector was really, really, really slow. No pressure. I might try it again once I can get this thing to seal and can pressurize it. Otherwise it's going to be 1/2" barb and silicon tubing.

I throught I'd have more equipment loss of the final product and wouldn't quite have two full kegs. Over the past few weeks I've done a couple trub dumps and samples. One last yeast dump today and there wasn't much before it ran clear. I could probably have filled 10+ 12oz bottles with the remaining beer. I saved some in a 1.5L mason jar for cooking as I wasn't prepared. I think I'll get some carb tabs to have on hand.

Good to know. I'll be transferring my first batch this weekend.

Next batch I should gave my Stout Tanks dip tube and should hopefully have my sealing problem fixed.

Very nice. I built a stand for mine to have it high enough to gravity fill kegs.

First keg fills this evening. Looking forward to getting this thing sealed up so I can transfer under a bit of pressure.

Haven't ground down the arm yet, but will probably take a bit off to get some more pressure on the seal.

My dip tube from Stout Tanks arrived in the mail today. Really well made part, and extremely hefty. Fits really tight in the racking port, but a little food grade lube on black gaskets will likely help a bit with that. When turned downward the dip tube gets within 3" of the bottom of the cone.
