 Fried eggs on food

			I don't like it. Every other week I see a recipe that ends with a soft-fried egg thrown on top of food - pasta, salad, burgers, etc...WTF?

Definitely a fad I think. I'm not much for it either—I've not found a dish yet that it really adds anything to (other than bacon and eggs of course).

Re: Fried eggs on food
I was just flipping through my copy of BeerWest, and came across this:
http://www.beerwestmag.com/recipes/link ... e-salad-2/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I guess I'm missing the link between 'very basic', and something I'd pay for...
